( obviously this is not in any way scientific it’s just a shit post )This is a catalogue of different psychopathic personas I’ve observed, feel free to suggest more:
The go-with-the-flow or cool guy psychopath: nuetral evil, hedonic but controlled, characterized by a calm cool demeanor and an attitude of tolerance and reasonableness, strong Ego, they always seem under control and cool to be around and so often achieve celebrity and influence: Antone Lavey, Graham Platner, Vaush, Hasan, Epstien, Robert California
the looney toons psychopath: chaotic evil, pure Id and very low impulse control, deeply unhinged but strangely entertaining, their strategy is ‘hide in plain sight: Jimmy Saville, Kino Casino, Sam Hyde, Loc Dawg from Menace 2 Society
The moral fag psychopath: lawful evil pure Superego, uses morality and preachyness to exert control and cover for their own evil behavior, pretends to live up to an impossible standard of morality while demanding purity from others: Jim Jones, Bad Empanada, Jerry Falwell and most/all evangelical preachers and cult leaders.
The normie psychopath, evil evil, just the most normal guy you’ve ever seen and so last person you’d ever suspect, half way between the ‘cool guy’ and ‘moral fag’, defined by having a secret life, John Wayne Gacy, Walter White, Jacob Geller.
The Diva psychopath, chaotic evil, deeply insecure and obsessed with maintaining appearances so much so that they out themselves, they wish they were cool guys, and they try to appear ‘normal’ or ‘moral’ but it fails spectacularly, as they lack the impulse control, self confidence or personality for any of the above strategies to work, so they are the most obvious and unsettling of the lot: Pete Hegseth, Ted Bundy, Charles Manson, Patrick Bateman,
The catatonic psychopath: neutral evil, lacks any of the superficial charm or concern with appearances, “anti-social” in every sense of meaning, unable to relate to people at all, no Ego, the result of extreme child abuse or developemental disability. Ed Gein, Leatherface, Michael Myers, Jason, Castle Freak.
The just following orders psychopath, lawful evil, hides behind institutional authority to renounce any responsibility for sadistic actions, every “bad cop” and war criminal. The type of ‘the banality of evil’ was named after, however Eichman was much more of the ‘Diva’ type.
The mastermind psychopath: lawful evil, similar to the ‘just-following-orders’ type, but rather they are the one’s giving the orders, they are theorists and administrators of evil who rarely get their hands dirty: Dick Cheney, Henry Kissinger, Carl Schmidt, Heinrich Himmler, Moldbug, Peter Theil, Emperor Palpatine
The thug psychopath: neutral evil, run of the mill violent asshole who dominates people through intimidation and unsubtle manipulation, the type of guy that joins a gang or is an abusive father/husband, their brutality is often offeset by a soft spot or moral code which makes them endearing. Much more of a product of circumstance than the others. Larry Hoover, Raymond Washington, Tony Soprano. Tony Montana etc.
